Zaerith the wizard has a small bat familiar named Nrakk.
Chapter 1
Zaerith failed a poison save from a small spider bite, sapping some of his strength (1 point).
Garakh the Fierce, the female half-orc monk, was able to stop the poison from getting worse (helped Zaerith make second save).
Chapter 2
Chapter 3
The elf corpse had what appeared to be a longsword of fine quality. As an elf, Zaerith would be proficient with it, even as a wizard. So it could be a useful weapon should he not be able to cast spells during melee combat. At the very least, he may wish to identify the dead elf and return the longsword, if it is a heirloom, back to the dead elf's kin (for a reward of course). Upon closer inspection, however, Zaerith determined that while of masterwork quality, there was no elvish lineage associated with the blade. As a result, the group sold the longsword since Zaerith prefered to rely on his magics to keep him safe rather than use steel.
Chapter 4
Recovered from the corpse of the kobold spellcaster was a wand of magic missiles (1st level, 1 missile/charge). The command word appears to be in draconic, but still needs an identify spell to learn it and the number of charges remaining.
Chapter 5
Chapter 6
Using the gold that the mountain dwarf merchant, Samuel Goldbeard, had advanced him to investigate the disappearances at his mine, Zaerith sought out same rare inks to scribe his words of power upon some scrolls, imbuing them with arcane power, to extend his might. Zaerith could now cast "mage armor" and "color spray" a few additional times to further protect himself and to disrupt his foes.
