This amulet is attached to a silk string with spider eggs woven throughout.

A spider is unable to attack a creature warded by an "Amulet of Sanctuary from Spiders". If it tries (such as being commanded to do so), it fails and loses the action.

If a creature warded by an "Amulet of Sanctuary from Spiders" makes an attack, casts a spell that affects a spider, or deals damage to a spider, the sanctuary effect ends for this encounter.

History:

  • The "Amulet of Sanctuary from Spiders" was worn by Sneet the Kobold.
  • Sneet used it to get past the large spiders in the cellar of the Overcobble Pub in Astera.
  • The Grimm intimidated Sneet into surrendering both himself and the amulet.
  • The Grimm gave the "Amulet of Sanctuary from Spiders" to Drakara Lonewalker since she is not as resistant to poison as her dwarven and halfling companions.

    Design Notes:

    As an uncommon item, its value is between 200-500 gp.
