Banner's Beer Wagon
Back in the Tavern - pack of kobolds inside, leader wearing pot with antlers, the undercobble, Dreet Undercobble - dwarf friend and bard - so terribly day, their beer wagon was stolen, "Bannor" the dwarf merchant scammed them - pay with coin (200 gp) or rabbits - Grimm goes get drink, ignoring - Amber plays drums with them - beat out Yotto in performance - Banner back in Astera - Grimm starts fight between Amber and a bar patron but fails
Back on Mainroad - Dreet and Amber goes of for food, comes back with 3 large rabbits, cooks - Rollo has collected herbs for 1 dose of healing potion - still to make - Grimm likes to March - Dreet hunts down game birds for dinner, cooks - night time - quiet Day 8 - Dreet shadowing Amber - Dreet makes merry berry breakfast - Rollo has collected herbs for 1 dose of healing potion - still to make - day is quiet, Dreet cooks Bambi for lunch, yummy
- ask about Bannor, lives on outskirts of town, been investigating him for petty crimes Bannor - chastising 3 goons inside for not collecting/shaking down business - barely 25 gp here - wagon with a tarp over it beside the house near the window over it, has kegs in it. - Dreet has bill of sale to claim the - Grimm and Drakara lure them out and blast him, Rollo stabalizes him with his healer's kit - Drakara creates minor illusion of flame in front of one fleeing, surrenders to Amber - Weaver puts one fleeing to sleep, sends owl in to help Grimm vs Bannor - Grimm blasts him, Bannor surrenders - Grimm collects collection money from table, spills it all on the floor so only get 3 gp worth. - Grimm also grabs a desicated rabbit foot from the table too - Dreet super happy, gives them jingly bag - 100 gp of coin, bottle caps, buttons, help her tow wagon to wear its needed
The Overcobble Pub
Overcobble Pub - asked to clear out the cellar of rats - can hear screetching and clawing from the pub cellar - don't open - rats inside. - pile of rags in first room bottom of stairs - topaz necklace (100 gp) - copper necklace (15 sp) - cooking spices (0 gp) - old
through door to second room - swarm of rats and the "Rat King", a large furry creature in center of swarm. - pile of rat corpses - Rat King has nausious cloud around it, poisonous, if fail = incapicated, no actions or reactions - Rat King vulnerable to fire, Weaver's firebolt and Drakara's fire bolt kill it - swarm still swarming Amber, damage, healed by Dreet and Rollo, swarm chase - When Yotto cast detect magic Grim has necromancy aura (trinket) with a transmutation aura too.
door to third cellar room - room full of cobwebs and broken crates - scraping noise in the ceiling corner - rest of room is thick tangled web in ceiling, impeeds vision, but not motion on ground - two large spiders in each corner - killed - Grimm harvest poison sack x1 for Rollo to make antivenom. - dead rats and other small creatures spun up in the webs - silver ring hanging in the web (15 gp) - 6 bottles of wine (0 gp) -sour - leather satchel - 51 gp, 67 sp, 15 cp
door to fourth room = locked - quite shiny - Yotto took a real long time to pick the lock - hear a little bit of movement room - small kobold - Sneet - wanna be lamplighter - trying to show-up Dreet as leader - has a small sider eggs on string around neck, and amulet - Grimm intimidates Amulet of Sanctuary vs Spiders - it calms spiders, keeps them away - Drakara - dry storage room - nothing else of value
The team helps Dreet unpack the wagon and bring the beer making equipment and material into their dream pub. They also helped re-install the new lock in the basement onto the front door on the main floor. As thanks for all the help they provided, Dreet promises them all free drinks at her pub for life.
She asks them to bring her back to the Trip Away Inn so that she can collect the rest of her kobold tribe.
