    Ash Thorn is a male killoren scout.


    Chapter 1

    While in the hamlet of Roccatorre, Ash stayed with Steve Whent, the old human kingsman, and his deputy Jeff Tobed, a young human. The night was spent in awkward silence as Ash was wary of any representative of the crown and their supposed authority.


    Chapter 2

    The Wanderers of the Wylds made an ample donation to the Temple of Chauntea for a fully charged Wand of Cure Light Wounds for Ash to wield.

    That night, as Ash spent another meal in awkward silence with Steve Whent, the kingsman, and his deputy Jeff Tobed, a rat suddenly appeared in the corner of the sheriff's office. It was dessed in clothes with a book satchel by its side. The rat spoke, and introduced himself as Oscar, a wizard by trade, and asked to become a deputy of the Kingsman. He explained that he had been awakened by a "cookoo" druid in the wildwood and kept as a prisoner and experimented upon for a year before he could escape. In his travels since, he learned how to manipulate the weave, and now finds himself here, seeking service. Steve Whent said he would decide in the morning if he would take Oscar the Rat on a probationary basis as a deputy.


    Chapter 3

    When Ash leaves the Wizard's old library, there is a flash of light, and he has a vision.

    Ash cursed, as he scouted ahead through the rubble gap in the Grey Citidel's wall, he remembered that the orc prisoner had told them that King Razor had a pet wyvern, and there it was sleeping in its nest. Vivian approached and cast an area of silence around the wyvern, so it could not detect the group approach. Ash was the first to act and shot the wyvern with two arrows while it slept. When it woke, it roared but the silence meant it could utter no noise to alert the orc garrison. Then, as it started to fly, Ash knew he had to stop it from getting airborne and attacking them from they sky. He moved to quick and fumbled his first arrow, dropping it the ground. Not hesitating, he quickly grabbed another and let the arrow loose. The second arrow struck true, injuring the wyvern criticaly and dropping it to the ground - dead. Messi spotted somehting shiny in the nest, and pulled out an ancient dwarven helm adorned with 4 gems, while Vanark noticed a well made satchel hanging from a branch of the nest, and grabbed it.

    Ash cursed, Messi had been spotted through the open doorway by the orcs in the guard room, however they mistook him for one of their own and called on him to get more ale and bring it to them. Then the orcs spotted Vanark, and the Wanderers of the Wylds were starting to attract too much attention, so Ash stepped forth from the mist and slew the two nearest orcs, one arrow each piercing their skulls. The other guards in the room stopped drinking, then roared to life as they let out a war cry. The fight for the Grey Citidel had begun.

    Ash cursed, he had not been quick enough, he was not able to slay that human Cleric of Bane before the dark priest had managed to dispel Dash's web in the throne room, freeing the orcs, who would soon spill out through the broken walls to attack.

    Ash cursed, he saw Cherry go down. She had been preventing the orcs from emerging through the doorway to the throne room, but a lucky blow felled her. She had injured King Razor, but if the battle was to be won, the King must die. Ash took carefull aim, and struck true, killing the orc tyrant.


    Chapter 7

    While searching the chamber of one of an orc tribe representative sent to witness the ritual, they found a wooden box decorated with starburst rays. Ash recognized it as the symbol of Erevan Ilesere, the trickster god of the Seldarine. Opening it up was a single gold ring lying in a blue velvet cloth. Ellie was able to determine for Ash that this was a powerful Ring of Evasion.


    Chapter 8

    They entered through the double doors to find a dozen demon orcs working the forges, and led by an albino orc boss. Cherry charged in to take out the boss, starting the battle.
    Ash cursed, he missed.
    Ash cursed, he missed again.
    Ash cursed, he missed again, but that should have been an easy shot.
    Ash cursed, he hit this time, but that should have been an easy kill. Something's not right.
    Ash cursed, something's different, what is it?
    Ash cursed, the Ring. The Ring found in the box marked with the symbol of Erevan Ilesere, the trickster god of the Seldarine.
    Ash took the Ring off.
    Ash started to hit his targets again.
    Ash stopped cursing.

    Ash thought, Cherry likes treasure, she'll wear anthing. Ash gives Cherry the Ring. Who knows? She might get lucky. She does have elven blood flowing through her veins.
