The Rotun Mountain Range begins west and arc along its north border. Then they trail into large hills towards the east. North of this border lies tundra continuing into land of the giants.
Rotun Mountain Range-is a chain of tall inhospitable, rugged mountains whose peaks are covered in mist and clouds and snow covered all year round. The north face of the chain blocks the cold tundra winds. There the environment is suitable for white dragons, yeti, remorhaz and frost worms. The tundra also finds frost giants, hill giants, frostblood orcs, hardy barbaric humans and Neanderthals.
The chain's south face feeds Great Kern lake and is heavier populated by a more variety of creatures, as well as whatever creatures or groups cross from the north side to the south side. Native inhabitants include orc tribes, goblinoids, and kobolds. Ruins of strongholds, forts and other remains from the Last Empire War are scattered throughout the range.
