    Jade Solo is a female wood elf monk. Her order has always stood for the common folk. A fellow monk gifted her with a book discussing manners and etiquette (once per day, give advantage to a persuasion check) so she could better represent the common folk's needs before the nobility. The fellow monk also put a four leaf clover pressed inside its cover to give Jade luck on her journey. Her travels have brought her to the town of Orlbar, at the foot of the Greypeak Mountains near the Weathercote Wood.

    Jade entered the Weathercote Wood to rescue Darek Brewmont from the Death Knight. The path she took was dark and full of webs. Two giant wolf spiders emerged. She drank her antitoxin and fought them off, it was close. If not for the antitoxin, she would have succumbed to their poison. Still nursing her wounds from the spiders, she had the misfortune of crossing paths with the Blood Night. He only let her go if she swore a dark pact to do his bidding. Plumeria gave her a blessing. Promising to save her should the Death Knight defeat her. Jade encountered Greybark, a treant, who gave her a gift, a magic longbow, made from Greybark itself. She found the Red Tree and fashioned a stake from a branch as she had learned.

    Jade confronted the Death Knight in his lair. She had snuck up on him and hit him with an arrow from Greybark's Gift. Jade hit with Sword of the Goddess's Wrath, landing a solid blow on the Death Knight, who hit back just as hard. Jade grew afraid, not just from the Death Knight, but from the pact she made with the Blood Night. Dropping the cursed blade, Jade vowed to rely on her monk training instead. The two traded blows, even the boy got in some good hits with the dagger she had given him. Jade had to drink a healing potion to stay in the fight. The battle slowed and the two kept missing each other, until the boy struck his tormentor down with one final blow. Jade drove the Red Tree stake through its lifeless heart, and the creature crumbled to dust. She brought the boy home, but could not stay to claim the promised reward, as she feared the Blood Night would come for her if she waited for Lord Brewmont to go the bank to withdraw the funds the next day. Lady Brewmont, etenally grateful, gives Jade her necklace (700 gp) instead, as Jade bids them farewell.


    Jade Solo has been cursed by the Blood Night of Kiaransalee, the Dark Goddess, Enemy of Lolth and Orcus, The Vengeful Banshee!
    The Blood Night tasked her with slaying the Deathknight of Weathercote Wood with the Sword of the Goddess's Wrath. Only then, can the Blood Night and his followers see the Mother return to her former power ... and they have chosen this Wood of Weathercote as the point of her arrival. It is aligned with the unseen stars and the nodes of power that exist in this land ... it is a small but potent place. The Blood Night commanded her to return the Sword of the Goddess's Wrath to him before dawn, and promised that she will become his most exalted follower! His general, who shall stand beside him in glory as they return the Goddess Kiaransalee to her rightful place as ruler of this land! While Jade did slay the Deathknight, she instead fled, and is unable to rid herself of the Sword of the Goddess's Wrath. When she took the Death Knight's sword, she later found it had vanished, and the Sword of the Goddess's Wrath was in the scabbard instead. She fears it acts like a beacon, allowing the Blood Night and his followers to hunt her down no matter where she goes. Thus, until she rids herself of the cursed sword, she will never stay in any one place for long.


    The monastic tradition Jade Solo has chosen is the Way of the Four Elements.

    Fleeing the Cult of Kiaransalee and the Blood Night, Jade Solo has arrived at Zhentil Keep, seeking a way to undo her curse. Jade goes into The Scoundrel's Tankard tavern. She has the need to hit something, and the dwarf Kromm Daggerfist, just volunteered. There is a fighting pit in the cellar of the tavern, and a 150 gp prize to anyone who can beat Kromm. Jade starts off strong, but Kromm nicks her with his blade. The poison slows and weakens her, putting her at a disadvantage. She still lands a blow, but not before Kromm knocks her out, and keeps the prize money to himself. Nursing her pride, Jade looks for an Inn to stay the night. The first one she finds is The Zhentil Arms (5 gp/night). Nope, not for her, so she keeps looking, and finds The Stout Miner (2 gp/night), which is more her style.

    The next day, Jade decides to explore Zhentil Keep. On her way to the Amaunator Temple, she saves an old man being attacked by rat person in an alley. Damn that rat person has a nasty bite, the fever gave her the shakes and put her at a disadvantage during the tussle. Jade hopes to find a way to remove her curse at the Amaunator Temple. She prays to Amaunator, and is granted a spiritual boon to aid her on her quest. The priest told her that Orthodox Banites are at odds with Fzoul Chembryl's faction of worshippers, as the latter has done a deal with Manshoon and the Black Network. At the temple, she meets Salihn Elassidil of Elventree, daughter of Elanil Elassidil, the Warden of Elventree. Salihn tell her that Fzoul Chembryl, the High Priest of Bane, stole The Wand of the Elven Mage. She has come to retrieve the Wand from his tower. Jade promises to help her retrieve the wand.

    Along the way to Scimitar Street, Jade wins a prize from a halfling who challenged the crowd to pick his locked little chest. She visits the Sword In The Forge on Scimitar Street, where Kelelan of Vaasa, a dark skinned young woman, lures her into the backroom and kisses her passionately before showing her their special stock. Jade purchases the Arrow of Undead Slaying without hesitation in the hopes that it will help her defeat the Blood Night of Kiaransalee. Leaving Scimitar Street, she spots a hairless humanoid stalking her, but it disappears before she could react. Was this a cultist of Kiaransalee? Had they found her already?

    Jade purchases a few magic items in Arcana Lane, and even won the door prize at one shop. Heading to the southern ruins, Jade is lured into an ambush by Annaya the Sorceress, who she soundly defeats. Magic is no match against a flurry of fists. Across the river Tesh, Jade finds a few items of note amongst the ruined houses. Approaching a ruined temple, the rubble comes alive and rises into a humanoid form. Stones rise and float in the air all around her. One stone hurtles towards her through the air. Her training deflects stone after stone, as she responds in kind, throwing daggers at her foe, until she has none. Moving in close, rubble bursts from the creature striking her. She strikes it with her fists, until it crumbles and the floating stones fall to the ground. Jade enters the ruined temples and recieves a message from Mystra. The hour is late, so she heads back across the river. On the bridge, she sees a mysterious robed figure, still like a statue. Others appear oblivious to it. But the darkenned cowl seems focused on her. She approaches it, and just as she is about to touch it, the robe collapses onto the bridge, empty. Jade is sure the cultist of Kiaransalee are onto her. She returns to the Inn for a short rest before she meets to keep her promise to Salihn. Then she intends to flee Zhentil Keep.

    Jade meets Salihn at the agreed upon place. With her is her brother Kragor. Still bruised from her encounter at the temple, Salihn gives Jade a healing potion to drink. The trio sneak into Fzoul's tower. Amaunator's voice fills Jade's thoughts, telling her to look up. There it is, a stone drake sleeping on the ceiling. Moving with stealth, the trio sneak past the tower guardian. Ascending to the upper floors, Jade takes the lead, triggering traps along the way, taking fire and lightning. In Fzoul's chambers, they recover the wand, and quickly depart the tower.

    Later that night, she met Teodric, an elf, who belongs to the ancient order of the Knights of Myth Drannor. Jade was brought to meet Huon Falconhand, the leader of Knights of Myth Drannor in hiding in Zhentil Keep. There were six old men, but she only got a few of their names: Huon, Addy, and Illis. They asked her to find the secret Zhent tunnels the assassins used to enter the Citidel of the Raven and find out those responsible for killing Hawkhelm. They tell her that once she is inside Citidel of the Raven, she must find a Purple Dragon Knight called Sir Steval Skurynd, who can help her.

    The next morning, after a long rest, Jade met Teodric, who would guide her to the base of the Dragonspire Mountains as she leaves Zhentil Keep behind her, along with the Cult of Kiaransalee followers stalking her...


    Jade Solo begins her journey through the Dragonspire Mountains, searching for the secret tunnels used by the Zhentarim to infiltrate the Citidel of the Raven. She doesn't have much time, as the Zhents could be planning to take over the fortres anytime.

    Jade could hear a Zhent patrol approach and quickly hides. She takes the east path and soon finds a waterfall and the Temple of the Obscured Moon. As instructed, she speaks the words Alannor Alramish Gebeldnor and is rewarded with a gift to help her on her quest. Jade comes across three orcs attacking a farmhouse. She is able to deflect their arrows, and slays one with her own volley before the rest run away. The grateful farmer thanks and warns her about a haunted tower to the north. She later breaks camp for the night to take a long rest, only to be jolted awake by a shocker lizard. The creature runs away when faced with serious opposition. The next morning she finds the tower. She discovers the moat around it is holy water, so she empties her wine bottles and fills them with holy water. She dodges a doortrap, but is then attacked by several undead Banite monks, but is able to destroy the unholy abominations. Later, she approaches a very strange mountain formation. She is attacked by an unseen opponent, but lands a blow, making it visible for a brief moment, a smooth-skinned humanoid, about five feet tall, androgynous and devoid of hair - the same creature that stalked her in Zhentil Keep - even out here she is being stalked by the Cult Kiaransalee. Jade quickly takes a side path through the mountains, and manages to lose the creature, or so she hopes.

    The cave entrance is in the shape of a skull's mouth. Inside, a silhouette of a humanoid directs her to a concealed door. Just beyond the entrance, she finds a pit trap, but is able to avoid it using her "step of the wind" ability to jump over it. Deeper into the tunnel, Jade meets Urldyn Rilzynge, a Drow, from the order known as the Jaezred Chaulssin (House of Shadow). Urldyn takes her to meet Merinyon Zauret, their leader, and a human named Selfaril Oumdolfin of Mulmaster, the twin brother Rassendyl, a captain within the Citadel, who is Galauntar Hawkhelm’s true killer. They need her to infiltrate the citadel and call them when it is time to attack. Merinyon Zauret gives Jade the incantation "Vhaeraun vuletri" needed to access the drow portals. Jade takes a short rest with the drow to reover her ki. Exploring the Zhent tunnels some more, she frees Kuthrix Blooddelver, a small humanoid, dressed in leather and with dark skin and eyes of yellow. One of those deep gnomes, a svirfneblin. Kuthrix gives her a vial full of Muck Weevils, which she later uses to mess up the food stores in the Zhent barracks.

    Once inside the Citadel of the Raven, she goes to the training yards, thinking it might be the best place to find Sir Steval Skurynd, only its not. Instead, she gets caught and is tossed in the Citadel's jail cell. Much later, Sir Steval finds her, and after telling him her tale, he lets her out and provides her with a safe place to sleep for a nice long rest. The plan is to confront Rassendyl the next day when he is less guarded.

    The citadel shakes. Rassendyl has begun a ritual to give himself power from the ancient drow mystic fonts. Jade and Sir Steval race to the cavern to stop him. Jade, using the sending stone, tells Selfaril and the drow to attack now. The final battle is chaotic, drow vs zhents, Sir Steval is knocked out by a stealthy hairless humanoid figure - one of the Cultists of Kiaransalee. Urldyn engages the cultist. Jade and Merinyon take on Shannah Nezraxxis, Rassendyl's Warlock Priestess. Together, they are able to defeat her, but Merinyon is injured so Jade gives her a healing potion to use. Meanwhile, Urldyn and Selfaril engage Rassendyl directly. Sefaril falls before Rassendyl, who flees to another chamber. Jade, Urldyn and Merinyon take on Rassendyl. Rassendyl is a formidable foe, dropping both drow with multiple thunderwaves, and hitting Jade with both blade and poison attacks. In the end, Jade triumphs and Rassendyl is slain dead.

    Once Jade heals them with potions, the drow quickly leave, now that the Zhents no longer soil their mystic fonts. Sir Steval wakes and thanks Jade for their victory, declaring it a victory for the "Freefolk of the North". Sir Steval gifts her with the promised reward and gives her a fine white draft horse to carry her gear.

    Jade Solo leaves the Citadel of the Raven - to stay one step ahead of the Cult of Kiaransalee, and now the Zhents - to lose herself in the vast plains known as The Ride...
