Gimble Vanark is a male forest gnome fighter from the gnomish village in a nearby forest.

Gimble loves playing chess and played the game for hours with his grandfather. He enjoyed the strategy of it all, especially outmaneuvering his opponents to guarantee his victory. It pained him when his grandfather passed away, but was pleased to learn that his grandfather had gifted him his Lucky Glass Queen chess piece. Now, he won't play a game without it, since he believes his grandfather's spirit is there watching over him as he plays.

Gimble was awarded a medal by his village for helping to repel the goblin invasion last year. With his knowledge of chess, he was able to lead his fellow villagers and outmaneuver the goblins, forcing those not slain, to retreat. Gimble personally slew the goblin raider's leader, and took the goblin's dagger as a trophy of his victory.

Gimble has decided to explore the outside world...

    TPK01

Gimble and Himo slept in and missed going out on patrol with the rest of Team A. Thus, they were not around to participate in Sirni's Story of Secret Shame.

    TPK02

Gimble challenges the Lord of Blades to a chess game, and to everyone's surprise, he accepts. Gimble plays with his grandfather's Lucky Glass Queen. He was winning to, but the Lord of Blades stops playing after being hit and damaged by Hima. The Lord of Blades tosses the chessboard in the air, before resuming all out attacks against our heroes.

    TPK03

At the wishing well, Gimble asks the Genie for both knowledge and power. Gimble tosses in his medal from the goblin wars, a recognition of his heroism from his fellow villagers.

The Genie tells Gimble that "your way is set, losing time, day grows short, as does my rhyme".

The Genie then hands Gimble a pair of Quickstep Clogs. These allow the user to cast haste once per long rest on themselves.

Upon leaving the dreamscape, Gimble notices a tatoo on his wrist of the Quickstep Clogs, and realizes the next time he returns, he will have access to the Quickstep Clogs while inside the dreamscape. However, his medal that he sacrificed no longer exists in the dreamscape either.

    TPK04

Gimble did not enter the dreamscape this time.
