Cherry Blossum is an honest easy-going female half-elf warblade from Silverymoon.

Cherry Blossum's human mother is a devout follower of Oghma, the Lord of Knowledge, and ensured that her daughter recieved a proper education. Cherry's curiousity drove her thirst for knowledge, but found herself drawn to not just facts and theory but the practical and physical aspects of learning as well. She is particularly fascinated with tactical and strategic applications of the Art of War and perfecting the Way of the Blade.

This curiousity does have a slight downside, as she finds herself fascinated with how different mechanisms work, so she will often try and trigger them to see how they function and were built (traplover).

Unfortunately, she has inherited an ancient family curse from her elven father (poor saves). She is constantly seeking the knowledge that may garner a clue as to how to break the curse and free her and her father's family.

When visiting Candlekeep and rummaging through some very old historical records, Cherry made her needs known to a teacher, a retired adventurer who went by name of Sigh Onic. He directed her to an obscure item regarding the Last Empire War. The item was so obscure that the chances of her having found it without help would be very improbable. Knowing this, she whispered a prayer of thanks to Oghma. The essence of the item was near the end of the war, there was something hidden or found or made or located somewhere in the Rotun Mountains that had the ability to remove generational family curses. Armed with this knowledge, she travelled to Kern. Along the way she met up with others who had a similar destination and joined up with them. They were a motley crew.

    Chapter 1

Cherry stayed with the clerics of Chauntea, Ingrid and Vivian Cantor, a mother and daughter team, while in the hamlet of Roccatorre, spending the evening learning about Chauntea's religious beliefs.

She also learned more about the old ruined wizard tower on top of the mountain plateau. Supposedly, it was the wizard, Tsathzar, who created the plateau, so as to have a flat surface to build his tower on. It was not known which side the wizard fought on during the last empire war, only that the wizard and his tower disappeared at the end of the war.

Cherry also agreed to allow Vivian to join their party as they sought to end the town's ogre problem. Vivian's healing certainly came in handy later.

Cherry could hear and understand the Ogre behind the rock wall repeating ""the cold, the dark, the gate, its my soul, don't take my soul". This was the same thing being said by Joe, the only survivor of a previous foray against the feral kobolds plagueing the hamlet and nearby farms.

Cherry has learned to be more flexible in combat, noting that there is a time for offense and time for defense. She also learned to be more patient and cautious (maybe), as she grew frustrated with Rako, her kobold companion, taking so long to disarm the trap on the treasure chest they had just found, so she pushed him aside, and said "it can't be that bad, let's just trigger it to get at the good stuff" as she flung open the lid, only to be attacked by four slim "Barbie" constructs that launched themselves at her...

Having dealt with the hamlet's ogre problem, Cherry had Zesk Trendor, the half-orc blacksmith, craft a pair of masterwork dastanas to wear on her arms to help increase her defensive capabilities.

Cherry and her companions then entered the Kobold Caves. Understanding draconic, she heard the kobold guards at the entrence mention something about wanting to worshop the dead gods but had to wait for Tsath. Could Tsath be the lost legendary wizard, Tsathzar, from the ruined tower on the mountain plateau that supposedly disappeared?

    Chapter 2

During the last battle in the Kobold Caves, Rako and Thank had been bit by several diseased dire rats. Upon their return, Chery, Rako, Thak and Vivian went to the Temple of Chauntea. Ingrid, the senior priestess and Vivian's mothe took a look at Rako's festering wounds. At that moment, a Rat scurried down the temple wall, stopped and spoke. It claimed to be an extra-planar being possessing the rat and was actually the guardian of the local forest. It had followed them back from the Kobold Caves. The 'entity' that is possessing the rat is a force of nature and of high power. It originates from the ethereal plane. These 'spirits' embody the will of the land and all creatures in it. It is a benevolent and protective of the region that spawned it and of the creatures therein. These entities are referred to as Spirits of the Woods. It confirmed that Rako had been infected by the bite, however, it then cured Rako of the dire rat disease. It claimed that Thak was not infected from the rat bites they got in the Kobold Caves. It told them that it would return to the forest, as the Hamlet already had its own protector.

After the Wanderers of the Wylds made an ample donation to the Temple of Chauntea for a fully charged Wand of Cure Light Wounds for Ash to wield, Cherry used her share of the leftover loot from the Kobold Caves to commission Zesk Trendor, the half-orc blacksmith, to craft a silver light pick and a cold iron bastard sword that was lighter and easier to wield than her greatsword (which she gave to Zesk as part of the exchange).

After she got her new gear, Cherry had a dream that night which woke her in a cold sweat, but also with new found purpose come the morning.

    Chapter 3

    Chapter 4

When Cherry leaves the Wizard's old library, there is a flash of light, and she has a vision.

In the chamber of blood, Cherry struck at the elite kobold warrior, killing it instantly and cleaving "Noir" into the half-white dragon warrior, staggering him. However, she left herself open, and took a mighty blow from the beast. Recovering quickly, she scored a critical hit against the monster and felled him, chopping off his head in one strike. Cherry claimed the magic blue-oily suit of chainmail the creature was wearing.

    Chapter 5

    Chapter 6

After Dash cast a web spell in the throne room, Cherry interposed herself in the doorframe between the courtyard and the throne room during the battle of the Grey Citidel. This stopped the orcs who broke free or burned through the web from swarming out to reinforce the orc garrison emerging from the main guardroom and overwhelming her companions.

At the end of the battle, Cherry claimed the suit of Full Plate being worn by the human Cleric of Bane, as it provided much better protection than her Blueshine Chainmail. Cherry was even happier to learn from Ellie, the Full Plate had been enchanted with abjuration arcana to further protect the wearer, although it did nothing to stop Ash's deadly aim from finding the chinks with his bow and arrows and slaying the cleric.

    Chapter 7

On either side of the Orc King's throne were two fonts filled with a black magical necromantic liquid (according to Ellie). In case it could be useful later, Cherry used an empty potion vial to collect some of the foul liquid.

In the chamber of the Zhents, the team found a large chest with a padlock securing it shut. Ellie claimed the lock was protected with abjuration magic, as was the chest. Rako inspected it for traps and found something, but was unable to disable it. That's when Cherry focused and remembered she had found a key on the Banite cleric while claiming their Full Plate. Surely using the key would bypass any magical protections. Confidently, she inserted and twisted it. The padlock unlocked, but it was followed by a bludgeoning blast and breath of frost that hit Rako and Cherry head on and infuring them. Pass phrase, their must have been a pass phrase. Next time. But for now, their was platinum coins and jewelry to liberate from being used by the Zhents as tribute for the ritual.

In another room belonging to a representaive of one of the orc tribes sent to witness the ritual, the group found a large sack filled with gold. A large chest was filled with well made armor and weapons, however, one weapon stood out. It was a bastard sword whose blade is steel with an ice blue colour tint. Its hilt is made up of a white dragon bone with a ball shape pommel, a tubular grip and two quillion guards. As a Warblade, Cherry was drawn to it. Ellie used her gift to find it had been enchanted to not only be extra sharp, but to deliver an icy touch to its foes. Cherry named the blade "Ice Wind" as she claimed it.

After defeating the orc guards enhanced by the gray light on the lower level, Rako used the cursed red gem “The Eye of Gruumsh” to open the sealed door to the Tomb of the Fallen Kings. Cherry and Messi went inside and found six sarcophagi around the room. Together they lifted off the lid to “His Majesty the Wrecker” and found an orc skeleton with ceremonial jewelry and a crown, along with the orc king’s masterwork double axe. Similar contents when they opened the sarcophagus to “His Majesty the Blade Breaker”. However, when they opened the lid to “His Majesty the Fire Tamer”, Cherry and Messi were attacked by a gelatinous blob with two appendages. The blob was covered with red spots, similar to what the Wanderers of the Wyld had seen in the Kobold Caves. One of the appendaged grabbed Cherry and sucked her into its gelatinous form. Ash shot an arrow at the blob, but instead of impaling it, the large blob divided into separate blobs. Messi smashed the blob with his great hammer, leaving a noticeable bruise on its surface. Instead of breaking free, Cherry enters her punishing stance and summons the power of the stone around her to bludgeon the blob holding with her full plate gauntlet using the full force of a mountain hammer, slaying it instantly. The rest of the Wanders of the Wild dispatch the other half of the blob soon after. They find similar treasure inside the opened sarcophagus that they had found in the others.

    Chapter 8

    - Ash notices his aim is off, figures out it might be the ring of evasion (cursed), giving him minuses to hit - Cherry takes ring of evasion from Ash

  • flesh golem with red marks on it, has a goblin attached to it, has a tentacle that emerges to grapple
  • Ash yells out that the goblin is special, don't harm it
  • Cherry got grappled, then was squeezed, mountain hammer strike back, then golem threw away

  • claims to know Oscar the Rat

    Chapter 9

    Chapter 10

Cherry decided to try out "Ice Wind", practicing her forms to become familiar with the weight and feel of a bastard sword instead of the longsword she was used to.

    Chapter 11

The purple striped plant with the flailing vines pulled itself out of the garden to pursue the Wanderers of the Wyld.

"CLOSER?!?!?!" screamed Ellie at Cherry, "ARE YOU F---ING CRAZY?!?!?! NO WAY!!! YOU GET CLOSER!!!"

Ellie quickly withdrew to where the rest of the Wanderers of the Wyld had gathered, leaving Cherry to deal with the veggie monster on her own.

Cherry switched tactics by becoming a dancing wall to protect her companions with her shield and "Noir" from the dangerous plants in the underground garden.
